Hi, I’m Claire!
I’m a user researcher and occasional writer. Currently, I’m working at Ad Hoc conducting research to improve government services. Some of my past work highlights include researching financial needs and behavior at Affirm, implementing research ops processes within my UXR team at Zaplabs, and leading user research to develop a housing library for Los Angeles’ Housing + Community Investment Department.
Before all that, I studied Cognitive Science and Philosophy at UCLA, focusing on ethics, free will, and human-computer interaction.
More about me: I was born in Scotland, but grew up in California. Then I moved up and down the west coast (Los Angeles → Seattle → Oakland) before landing in NYC. I love memoirs, urbanism memes, live music, and breakfast food.
